HOW FOCA BECAME SRBINJE

Former president of the Foca municipal executive board Radojica Mladjenovic denied that Muslims had been expelled from Foca. He did admit that the town that before the war had the same percentage of Serbs and Muslims turned into a ‘Serb municipality’ with a 99 per cent Serb majority. The witness contested the allegation that the town's name was changed to Srbinje to reflect that. There was a need to make the name rhyme with the names of the neighboring municipalities of Trebinje, Ljubinje, etc.

HADZIC ABSENT ON TUESDAY

The trial of Goran Hadzic has been postponed because of his health problems. Last Friday, the former prime minister of the SAO Slavonia, Baranja and Western Srem fainted and had to be given medical aid. The doctors are monitoring Hadzic’s condition

SENSE, working together with the Memorial Center in Potocari, has founded the Srebrenica Documentation Center. The purpose is to show how the events in July 1995 were investigated, reconstructed and prosecuted before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia
