APPELLATE JUDGMENT FOR ‘SREBRENICA FIVE’

On Friday the Appeals Chamber will hand down the final judgment in the case against Vujadin Popovic, Ljubisa Beara, Drago Nikolic, Radivoj Miletic and Vinko Pandurevic. The five Republika Srpska military officers were charged with genocide and other crimes in Srebrenica and Zepa in July 1995. Ratko Mladic’s trial continues. There will be a status conference in the Radovan Karadzic case

EXPERTS ASKED TO EVALUATE HADZIC’S HEALTH

Goran Hadzic’s trial has been adjourned since 20 October 2014 because of his ill health. Now the Trial Chamber has granted the prosecution’s motion to appoint two experts who will evaluate if and how Hadzic might be able to attend and participate in his trial

SENSE, working together with the Memorial Center in Potocari, has founded the Srebrenica Documentation Center. The purpose is to show how the events in July 1995 were investigated, reconstructed and prosecuted before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia
